Healthcare Interoperability

The Healthcare Interoperability course will focus on various aspects of health information exchange. This includes defining interoperability, providing an overview of common standards, and examining the national and New York State landscape. The course will also provide example applications of interoperability and how health centers have utilized data exchange services.

This course is designed for technology, EHR, and clinical quality staff that are interested in learning the basics of interoperability in health care and exploring promising practices.

Seat time: 3 hours (approx.)

  • Interoperability Standards
  • National Landscape of Interoperability
  • New York State Landscape of Interoperability
  • Interoperability in Practice
